Brewing FAQs
Q: How long will a brew take?
A: A typical brew will take about 3hrs. It will then need about two weeks to ferment before bottling. Bottles should be left for two weeks to fully carbonate, but a sneaky taster after a few days in name of 'research' won't hurt.
Q: Where should I store my fermenter?
A: Leave your fermenter in a dark spot that has a relatively stable temperature. Inside a cupboard works great.
Q. How important is sanitising?
A: Very important. Not sanitising your equipment can lead to infection, which results in a funky beer. We'll be updating this section soon with more resources, and also provide more information on santising on your BrewCard.
